Community Favorites are a great way for you to share and learn about fantastic locations to observe and photograph the night sky.

Community favorites show to all Astrospheric users on the main map as small blue dots.

Creating a Community Favorite is easy, and it starts by sharing one of your personal favorites.

To create a Community Favorite

• Open the Favorites flyout if you're on your mobile device
  
• Scroll to the bottom of your favorites and select "Share" next to any that you'd like to make public
  

Once you've created a Community Favorite you'll see it at the bottom of your favorites list.

When creating a Community Favorite, please make sure it's high quality!

• Add images of the site so your location looks great on the map and visitors know what to look forward to.
• Create a detailed description informing visitors why they should visit, what permissions do they need, and any special considerations they should think about before visiting.
